The good, bad and ugly trail run
TRA permit N0. 37-18. Held under UK athletics rules. Open to runners and walkers
VENUE: HOCKLEY WOODS car park (TQ 833 924) on the B013 next to
THE BULL PH (Main Rd Hockley SS5 4RN)
TIME: 9.30AM – 12.00PM Last competitor.
DISTANCES:
6 miles (GOOD) 95% woodland tracks, footpaths and bridleways.
9 miles (BAD) 95% woodland tracks, footpaths and bridleways.
12 miles (UGLY) of varying terrain
(Min age 16 for all distances unless accompanied)
ENTRY ON DAY: £4 affiliated, £6 unaffiliated including £1 drinks voucher redeemable at The Bull PH or tea, coffee, burger facilities in the car park.
Part of the trails will use council and private land, permission has been granted on the day for competitors to use.
Car parking:
1. Hockley Woods main entrance. This will fill up as morning progresses as this is a very popular location.
2. The Bull PH. Next to the main entrance. Permission allowed but the pub itself will only open at its normal opening times.
3. Manor Road opposite the pub. Please consider local residents when parking here.
