If members would like to make an additional contribution

Comrades Marathon

Men's captain combined his holiday to South Africa with the Comrades 89km race last week
in a time of 8 hrs 10.

He's not happy with his time by his own high standards but still a blinking awesome achievement by
us mere mortal standards!!!

Our Track Championships 24th June

As mentioned at club on Tuesday I'm organising our very own BRC club track championships on Tuesday 24th June from 7-9pm which will be held at Eastwood School track. Events will be open to all 1st & 2nd claim members and I will be putting the list up at club for names who wish to take part but if you can't get down then leave your name here. Currently I'm looking to do 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m & 3000m as the track events and then Long Jump and Shot Putt as the field events. You're welcome to do more than 1 event as long as your body can take it! Shorter events will be split into men and women only races. Longer distances may be run together due to timings but will still be separate men and women's races as regards the results. Please come and give it a go and challenge your fellow club members!
