Kirste5 BBQ raised...

Our Kirste5 BBQ raised £800+, so well done and thanks to all the hard working team, and those who attended.

We now go to phase2 of our Social Calendar with the Kirste5 Mexican Charity Night on 20th July.

we need a Volunteer and a Van (preferably a Volunteer with a Van)

OK, we need a Volunteer and a Van (preferably a Volunteer with a Van) to collect our two marquee tents (with help) from Ark Lane Campsite Hall Road Rochford, SS4 1PD, on Saturday 23rd July, 9am ish and deliver straight to Grovewood Primary, Rayleigh for the Kirste5 set-up.

Would be ideal if said, same person could then collect at 1pm ish Sunday 24th July after the race and re-deliver back to Ark Lane.

Any offers, as we don't really want the expense of hiring a van....??

Harp 24

On lap 24  - 101 miles completed. Very emotional - down to walking only now. Still leading by 3 laps. The final push!!!

Brian's funeral

Brian's funeral will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday 1st July at Pitsea Crematorium. In accordance with Brian's style I am suggesting club colours or smart/casual. We will be going to the Anchor in Benfleet afterwards.

I am asking for flowers from the family, and donations to the Kirste 5 fund, which will go to the Breast Cancer unit at Southend hospital.

Thanks once again for all your love and friendship, it has really helped.
